Ivesia is in need of a strong Technical Writer for a one year contract to create and maintain user documentation, as well as Services and Support documentation, for Horizon Clinicals products, especially Horizon Ambulatory Care.

Position Description
Responsible for planning, developing, organizing, writing and editing software documentation, including (but not limited to) online help, technical references, and release notes. May research, develop, and document installation processes and flowcharts. May participate in the user interface design. May produce electronic documentation such as CDs. May acquire and organize source material, including applicable specifications and technical write-ups. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
4+ years experience in technical writing

Nice to Have
Technical writing experience for clinical software products

Additional Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of Adobe Technical Communication suite required, working knowledge of SharePoint and wikis required, knowledge of content management systems and the healthcare industry preferred.

Education
4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience
