Ivesia Solutions currently has an opening for a Supplier Quality Engineer. This is a  contract opportunity with a client of ours in Michigan

 Skills:

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Over 2 years of automotive electrical quality manufacturing experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic statistical concepts application knowledge required.
Ability to effectively utilize MS Office software.

PREFERRED:
Thorough knowledge of quality control methods and systems.
ISO/TS auditing experience.
At least three years of automotive supplier quality experience.
Automotive electronic components/systems knowledge

Support cost recovery system and manufacturing plants to improve quality of products.
Perform supplier audits as necessary to assess supplier capabilities, register new suppliers, and support development.
Coordinate and approve supplier PPAP submissions.
Work with suppliers to resolve defective material issues, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions.
Supports quality policies and procedure development, as required
Coordinate and facilitate workshops to develop suppliers as necessary.
Benchmark world-class suppliers to assist the present supply base and identity future suppliers.
Regularly communicate (ex: trip reports, agendas, audit / workshop results) with quality and purchasing colleagues.
