This is a direct hire opportunity as a SQL Database Developer located North of Boston, MA. In this role, you will support applications and work closely Business System Analysts on business requirements and specifications and transform and load data according to the specs.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Code and unit test modules
Execute system and integration tests
Perform production data loads
Define, design and implement strategy to refresh database systems
Define and execute data validation routines
Support applications and perform production data loads
Fix bugs and perform enhancements
MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE:
SQL Server Database development experience
C/C++ programming, shell scripting within UNIX
Solid experience with SQL Server
PL/SQL -Oracle a plus
Data warehouse environments a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years of development experience
Bachelors Degree in CS or quantitative field preferred
Must be open to occasional on-call support
