Our client is seeking an experienced Flex UI Developer to join their team in the Portsmouth, NH area. In this role, you will work closely with technical leads in developing enterprise class applications. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of, and practical production experience with, Java web application development.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Java Web development using Flex and Flash
• Work with product management/stake holders in understanding new requirements.
• Write automated tests using JUnits or similar tools
• Work within an Agile methodology

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proven track record to work with the business, functional, and technical teams to implement, and support solutions to meet business objectives
• Web Application Development  for large scale web based software
• UI development experience using FLEX and FLASH throughout SDLC
• Flexbuilder, flex sdk development.
• ActionScript 2.0/3.0
• Standard Java Frameworks (spring, Hibernate).
• integration experience – Java with Flex.
• Apache Tomcat and Application Servers (JBoss/WebLogic/WebSphere)
• Automated testing using JUnit
• SDLC knowledge (Agile methodology preferred)
• Subversion, Maven 2, JIRA, Eclipse is a plus
• Databases Oracle/MySQL is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of professional hands on software engineering, including web development
• BS in Computer Science or quantitative field
• MS in Computer Science or quantitative field a plus
