BS Degree (Masters preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
3+ years of software programming or engineering involving C/C++ programming and debugging including embedded software development
Must have strong proficiency in C, C++, and Java, as demonstrated through employer administration of a screening test
Android experience strongly desired
Speech recognition software experience preferred

Responsibilities:

As part of a team to provide mobile customers with highly accurate and reliable speech recognition applications that automate access to information and services over the phone.implement new APIs / features; develop and maintain mobile devise applications, including cell phone resident voice recognition command and control applications; develop the speech recognition software using C-programming, Java Programming, ARM processor development suite, and VxWorks OS in Microsoft application and UNIX development environments; use various tools as part of development process, including (but not limited to) Perforce Configuration management tool (SCM), TRACE 32 In-Circuit Debugger, Python, QXDM Diagnostics software and other OEM proprietary tools; perform audio signal analysis for various OEM handsets and accessories to maintain and improve upon speech recognition softwares ability to perform the accurate recognition; conduct prototyping of new concepts and ideas.
