Ivesia Solutions currently has an opening for a Senior Firmware Engineer. This is a perm opportunity with a client of ours in Massachusetts

Experience:

10 years designing microcontroller based embedded firmware systems. Demonstrated history of delivering quality products to market
Real-Time Operating Systems, firmware design, and C code
Working knowledge of communications protocols, such as CAN, modbus.
Hardware design experience preferred.
System level experience with battery and power management a plus.
Familiarity with source code control systems.

Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
Excellent verbal and written English skills
Ability to interface well with internal and external customers
Ability to work independently or as a lead member on a development team.

Responsibilities

Develop system level software architectures to achieve end requirements
Interface with product management and customers to define software requirements. .
Aid in the development of target hardware platforms
Write C code to implement firmware designs in the embedded system.
Interface with SQA group to develop software design verification test methods.
Interface with Manufacturing Test group to develop automated test systems.
