Ivesia Solutions currently has an opening for a Release Engineer. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with our client located in New Hampshire.

Skills:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in software development (Engineering, QA and/or Build Engineering)
Strong understanding of source code management, tools & practices (labeling, versioning, branching, etc.)
Experience performing automated software builds
Fluency in Install Shield/Install Anywhere and/or substantive programming experience (Perl, Python, BASIC are good, C/C++/Java are better)
Ability to perform well in cross-functional teams
Strong communication and organizational skills
Capable of planning and performing tasks in a consistent, persistent manner
Familiarity with product development lifecycles
Ability to document standards for use by other team members
Able to analyze code manually and by using development tools

Preferred Skills:
Two or more years experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, C# , C/C++
Experience with Linux, Perl/Python and Shell Scripting preferred
Experience with Subversion and continuous integration servers is a strong plus
Experience with a defect tracking system (such as Jira) a plus
Experience with any Agile methodology
Experience with installation programming, particularly Install Shield and Install Anywhere
Experience integrating automated tests with automated builds
