Ivesia Solutions, Inc is looking for a Sr. Powertrain Development Engineer for our client in Orange County, CA

Skills:
Prefer BS degree (EE, ME or equivalent)
5+ years experience in automotive engineering and powertrain controls.
Matlab/Simulink powertrain

Understanding of powertrain technology, vehicle engineering, development, certification, OEM calibration, alternative fuels calibration and hybrid powertrain development.
Working knowledge of powertrain test equipment including engine and chassis dynamometers.
Knoeledge of powertrain modeling techniques including Matlab/Simulink applications.
Understanding of automotive engineering, validation and safety, industry, emissions and regulatory compliance.
Understanding of manufacturing, procurement and quality systems and processes.
Understanding of fair employment and safety regulations.

Duties: Work as part of a team and be directly responsible for powertrain development including component specification and selection, emissions, calibration, dynamometer and vehicle testing, and certification for hybrid vehicles
