Ivesia Solutions currently has an opening for a Manager of Engineering Validation (Test Lab) This is a  perm opportunity with a client of ours in Michigan

The Manager is responsible for leading the test and validation efforts in the Engineering Validation Test Lab.

Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with an electrical testing background. Preferably with battery or energy storage applications.
Minimum 2 years of prior Lab Management experience required.
Minimum 5 years of prior Automotive Lab Testing and Validation experience.
Strong computer skills including CAN, Visual Basic, Microsoft Office Suite
Superior written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate complex findings to broad audience.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and safety.

Ensure the accuracy of programs used in simulation or testing as appropriate to the requirements of the Validation Test Plan.
Identify and procure required resources needed to fulfill standing Validation Test Plans, Prototype testing and Engineering Research and Development testing.
Ensure Validation testing is conducted in accordance with TS16949 as required..
Oversee the maintenance of accurate and current data base for both historical and running test programs.
Supervise data reduction and provide complete and correct test results in a concise and timely fashion to the Validation Engineer and other personnel as required.
Manage the activities of the Test Engineers and Test Technicians to best facilitate the efficient and effective testing and validation of all assigned projects.
Help create and maintain a positive, safe and clean work environment through regular safety training
