Our client has asked us to identify creative Software Engineer with outstanding Java and/or C++ development skills on UNIX or Linux environment to join a group of entrepreneurial team. In this role you will develop large scale web based applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Using Java and/or C++ you will develop large scale web based application systems (end-to-end)
Work on existing and new internal tools, and provide general software engineering guidance and mentorship to team members
Create and expand the systems that drive business to websites and increase hits.
MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
In-depth and hands on knowledge of Linux, Java and related Open Source technologies
Java and/or C++ development on UNIX or Linux
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ruby development experience is a plus
Organized, self-motivated and detail oriented
Experience with data feed processing a plus
Excellent communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS
5-10 years experience developing large scale systems
BS Computer Science or quantitative field
