IT Manager (Network Administration, Helpdesk Coordination and CRM Administration)

 Our client currently has a direct hire opening for an IT Manager in Rockingham County NH. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the physical infrastructure, operational software applications, technologies and tools used with the client. You will manage a small IT organization; work with individuals and groups within the company to proactively improve their ability to perform their day-to-day functions by improving their interactions with the overall system infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Ensure the systems are functioning as designed
• Implementing processes and procedures to determine when they are not
• Fixing problems as quickly as possible; leading hardware, tool, and operational software evaluations
• Act as primary contact to vendors and suppliers
• Design, implement, manage and maintain the corporate IT infrastructure including virtualization environment (VMware), storage, email, file, application servers, security and network infrastructure, backup and archive systems and disaster recovery.
• Proactively work to improve IT processes to better serve the company as a whole.
• Manage the development of helpdesk procedures and end user training standards
• Maintain the security and privacy of Loftware’s Information systems.
• Maintain the documentation, integrity and continual operation of the network and processing application.
• Supervise the ordering, acquisition, inventorying and disposition of hardware and software.
• Develop, document, review and certify all back-up and disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Actively communicate with the management team and other stakeholders regarding user requirements, solutions and other IT-related tasks.
• Perform system installation, configuration and patch management.
• Create technical documents such as training manuals, release notes, product evaluations and process diagrams (experience in doing so)

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
 

• Hands on knowledge of Information security technologies and processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, domain architecture, Active Directory server side services and interaction with the desktop environment.
• VMware Virtualization and running mission critical applications within a virtual environment.
• Enterprise networking technologies and products (preferably Cisco)
• Ability to evaluate software products and make recommendations based on business objectives.
• Managing and administering an Exchange-based mail system.
• Familiarity with some of the following applications: Oracle EBS, SAP, Microsoft Great Plains, Salesforce.com
• Former experience working within an IT organization of a software development company
• Experience in a 24×7 high availability environment
• Manage time, tasks and individuals in an organized and professional manner
•  Possess the initiative to work efficiently without constant supervision or direction
• Following knowledge and experience would be a beneficial and a big plus:
• Database development languages and tools-including SQL Server and Oracle.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools.
• Compute Cloud Services, Cloud and Managed Hosting.
• End-user device technologies, application integration and associated services, operating systems and related utilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years in a Manager of Information Technology position.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
