Electrical engineering position in the Energy Storage Group focusing on the integration of advanced battery technology in Hybrid vehicles.

Experience / training / education:
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
5 years experience in related field preferred.
Automotive experience strongly preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude for integration of systems into vehicles.
Electro/Mechanical Design Engineering.
Power Electronics.

Duties:

Generate block diagrams, schematics, and analyses required
Generate plans, perform, and document testing of advanced automotive battery systems and chargers for hybrid vehicle applications.
Interface between internal groups to communicate electrical engineering needs.
Work with customer and engineering team to comprehend system requirements.
Participate in DFMEA activities internally and with suppliers to insure product failure modes and test plans are comprehended.
Participate in DFM/DFA activities internally and with suppliers to insure product design is cost effective and conforms to the manufacturing & assembly plans.

Oversee and coordinate third party testing.
