Experience & Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have successfully managed and scaled product development teams, including recruiting & retention, as well as demonstrated success through the complete life cycle of product development.
20+ years hands on systems & hardware engineering experience with 10+ years managing mid-sized, fast-paced and dynamic engineering teams.
Past experience overseeing development teams responsible for power conversion systems is a plus
History of successful management of multiple, concurrent development teams.
Outstanding organizational skills with proven ability to handle multiple projects and operational responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to deliver products on agreed-upon schedule.
Ability to create a culture and processes that foster rapid iteration and learning.
Well-versed with recent energy storage or power conversion technology innovation, with a clear vision for future trends and their impact on our business.
Entrepreneurial drive demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, both at a technical and executive level.
Education:
BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, advanced degree strongly preferred

Help create and implement rigorous standards and methodologies.
Fully leverage our development resources and technology talent.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between all of the development groups around the world.
Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization.
Participate in the development of our product lifecycle management processes to deliver high-quality products on schedule — be a process guru.
Collaborate with product management, applications engineering, program management and the field organizations to ensure success of the products and meet product growth and profit targets.
