Education/Training Required:
Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree Pharmacists License and a minimum of two years clinical experience as a pharmacist in an
academic medical center environment or completion of Pharmacy Practice Residency program. Attend six week Epic training program and obtain associated certification within six months of program completion.

Preferred: Advanced degree or ongoing education in biomedical informatics, medication policy or clinical research; prior healthcare IT team lead experience

Experience Preferred:
Health System experience and experience participating in challenging technical projects and translating clinical needs into technological solutions; prior management experience

Skills Required:
# Ability to work independently, yet function well in collaborative team setting
# Strong leadership, critical thinking and interpersonal skills are essential
# Ability to demonstrate effective presentation, oral and written communication skills
# Demonstrated competency in personal computing programs, especially Microsoft Office applications.
# Competence in evidence-based medicine and literature evaluation

Preferred:
# Advanced training in Lean/Six Sigma; SAS, JMP or other statistical software
# IT or clinical leadership experience in one or more of the following areas: CPOE or Pharmacy
Minimum Qualifications Education

Doctor of Pharmacy Degree

OR

BS Pharmacy Degree
Experience

With a BS Pharmacy degree, two years of clinical experience, or
acceptable board certification, or completion of an accredited residency
program and demonstrated ability to achieve positive patient outcomes in
a similar environment is required.

With Doctor of Pharmacy degree, no experience is required.
